Peace Representation at the Mt. Rainier Craft Fair

Earlier in the week, Mt. Rainier Peace Clubbers made crafts that were sold at the Mt. Rainier Craft Fair on Saturday. The proceeds collected from the children’s work benefited Little Friends for Peace’s partner, Kweku. Kweku is a young man from Ghana who was so distressed by the desperation of street children in Accra that he started a shelter for them. He is funding this venture by the sale of hand-made drums. As his friends run the shelter, Kweku is in America selling drums and raising money. LFFP is so glad to contribute to his impactful program and of course, very fortunate to enjoy the beautiful beats that he shares with us as well! Timmy's Peices of Peace table was another success at the craft fair. With over 10 dessert options, everyone was bound to find something to satisfy their sweet tooth!
