Little Friends For Peace participated in the Advent Series sponsored by Pax Christi called: Whose Children Are These? - talking to Afghan youth on the internet on Sunday afternoons . It was very inspiring and uplifting to hear the youth share how they want to be friends with others and not enemies - they said , why not love instead of hate. LFFP shared that they are teaching the best way to solve problems is to hop on the Peace Train- slow down , cool down, breath deeply and then say the problem, offer solutions and pick one that is fair for all.
Little friends For Peace also participated in the Global Day of Listening on New Year's Day - telephone hook up with Afghan Youth . It was a hopeful and uplifting way to bring in the New Year. LFFP shared that we want to lead a Peace Camp in Afghanistan.
