On Friday, October 2nd the Park Family along with some LFFP supporters travelled to Dover, Delaware for the second annual Mary V. Stermer Memorial Golf Outing. Benefiting Little Friends for Peace and Voices for Illinois Children, this event is organized by Jim Stermer along with MJ and her other siblings in honor of their mother, MV.
MV was an active humanitarian and tireless advocate for peace throughout her life. All enjoyed celebrating her benevolence and impact with a round of golf and few friendly games on the green. The afternoon ended with an awards dinners, where the Stermer children shared about MV and talked about the important causes to which the guests’ generous support was offered in her memory. Cheers to MV and a third annual next fall!
