Seton Girls Engage in Service Learning

Four Seton High School students, led by Sister Catherine, came to the Peace Rooom to guide the Perry children in peaceful ways of solving their problems and dealing with their frustrations and anger. Also the girls were very helpful in providing homework tutoring. Three of the girls had previously volunteered with LFFP during a summer Urban Plunge and the other girl had come for a an after-school training. Both LFFP and the Peace Room kids are excited to continue developing this relationship, and the high school girls expressed much excitement for continuing this experiential training in peace education. All are looking forward to an ongoing partnership!
