Christmas Cooking

Right before Christmas, a group of Georgetown students came to Perry to bake Christmas cookies and make peace cards. We met at Anne's house, where MJ helped us center ourselves with the Peace Circle. We all recited the Peace Pledge and sang our favorite songs about peace. Then we took a moment to reflect and share what kind of gift we would want to give the world for Christmas.

Once we got to Perry, we made sugar cookies and chocolate chip
cookies with lots and lots of delicious sprinkles. The Georgetown students helped us read some stories, and we made peace cards to bring some holiday harmony into the world. At the very end, we had a surprise visit from SANTA! Santa listened carefully to each one of the visitors and brought each of us a gift. What a holiday blessing!
